How does our technology work?

Our Microcyn® technology (HOCI) works by disrupting the ​cell membranes of bacteria, leading to their destruction.

When bacteria comes into contact with MicroSafe®, the active ​ingredient, hypochlorous acid (HOCl) - penetrates their cell walls.

Once inside - it disrupts essential cellular processes - leading to ​cell death.

Additionally, our HOCl oxidizes key components within the bacterial ​cells, further damaging them.

This process effectively eliminates the bacteria, making ​MicroSafe® an effective antimicrobial agent.

DISRUPTION OF THE CELL WALL.

Our MicroSafe® products target single-celled ​microorganisms, using hypochlorous acid to disrupt ​their cell walls. This process, called Cell Disruption or ​Cell Lysis, releases intracellular fluids containing ​desired molecules without harming our body's cells.
